Straight From the Golden Globes
Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon grabbed the gold. Anthony Hopkins celebrated a phenomenal career spanning 100+ films. Martin Luther King Jr. was honored. "Desperate Housewives" won best musical or comedy show. And the incomparable "Brokeback Mountain" cleaned up with four well-deserved awards.
So what do you really need to see? I'll tell you one thing, if you haven't yet watched Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix fill the shoes of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash with remarkable grace and spirit — belting out classic country in their real, extraordinary voices — you've missed two of the top performances of 2005.
